What is an Honor Guard?
Honor Guards are made up of volunteers who stand attention at funerals of veterans. They delivery a 21-gun salute while playing "Taps" to honor the service and sacrifice of service members. They serve in all weather conditions, any time of day, and without compensation. Honor Guards across the United States are in needs of funds to purchase uniforms, rifles, flags and cover transportation costs of the men and women who selflessly devote their time to provide funeral honors for fallen comrades.
